The Tangier to Chefchaouen route is serviced by the CTM Morocco bus company (there is no Moroccan rail service or Supratours bus service between Tangier and Chefchaouen). As of the day of this post, there are four departures per day from Tangier to Chefchaouen, departing from Tangier at 08h15, 11h00, 12h15, and 20h15. Buses return from Chefchaouen to Tangier at 12h45 and 20h40. The journey takes approximately 2h15 – 3h15 min because there are direct buses and sometimes you have to change the bus in Tetouan city.

Online purchase of CTM bus tickets is often only possible with a Moroccan bank card – we can purchase tickets for you generally up to 30 days in advance of travel and send them to you via email. If you are traveling first to Marrakech, we can also deliver regular tickets to your accommodation in Marrakech the day you arrive.
