When can I book Laos train tickets?
The booking window has changed. Older articles may say three days; current domestic and international availability can differ. Check the current LCR Ticket app for the actual travel date.
Is LCR Ticket official?
Yes. LCR Ticket is the official mobile ticketing app launched by Laos–China Railway Co., Ltd.
Can foreigners book?
Foreign travelers can use passport details for railway bookings. Check current payment options before assuming every foreign card or wallet will work.
Can I choose a seat?
Not normally. Seats are allocated automatically. You can prefer a window seat, but do not expect to choose an exact seat number or side.
Can couples sit together?
Not guaranteed. Book passengers together where possible, but the railway controls seat allocation.
What is Second Class?
Fast-train Second Class uses a 2+3 seating layout with air-conditioning and charging. It is the starting point for most travelers.
What is First Class?
