Al Boraq train tickets: The many advantages offered by the “Al-Buraq” high-speed train, linking the cities of Tangier and Casablanca, was revealed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, with the French President, Emmanuel Macron.

In addition to the price of tickets for trips, which the Director-General of the National Office of Railways, said are “highly affordable,” Al-Buraq will allow travel to several cities in Morocco through transportation, whether through the regular railway network or Supratours buses.

The traveler who arrives at Kenitra or Casablanca via the express train can continue to travel to the cities of Meknes, Fez, Taza, Oujda, Nador, Marrakech, Berrechid, Settat, and El Jadida via regular trains, or to the south via Supratours buses.

Traveling by high-speed train will reduce the travel time, for example, between Tangiers and Meknes to 2 hours and 38 minutes, to Fez 3 hours and 14 minutes, and between Tangiers and Benkrir to 4 hours and 24 minutes, and to Marrakesh 5 hours and 10 minutes.

The high-speed train will record 18 departures during the day from Tangier towards Casablanca, which departs at five and fifty-five minutes in the morning, while the flights depart from the Casablanca station traveling towards Tangier at six in the morning.

The prices are determined according to the quality of the first or second class, then depending on the date of acquisition of the ticket, which may extend to 3 months, which makes it the cheapest, in addition to the prices for children between 4 and 15 years old and students less than 26 years old, then those who are over 60 years old.

And the ticket price depends on whether the travel is scheduled during off-peak times or outside. In the case of purchasing the ticket on the day of travel, the traveler will have to pay an additional 10 percent of the ticket price. Passengers can make adjustments or cancel reservations for an additional fee set at 20% of the ticket price for the “flexible rate” option.
